Overview of Darpan Registration
NGO Darpan, a service provided by NITI Aayog, facilitates the eligibility of VOs (village organizations) and NGOs (non-governmental organizations) for new government grants and programs. In order to strengthen the connection between the government and non-profit entities, this platform collaborates with the NIC and NITI Aayog.
Moreover, the NGO Darpan registration process adds accountability and legitimacy to non-profit organizations. This portal has evolved into an efficient e-governance tool, fostering a trustworthy and productive relationship between the government and NGOs. Additionally, any NGO or VO registered as a society, trust, or private non-profit under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 2013, or 1956 is eligible to apply for NGO Darpan registration.
